Draisaitl, McDavid dominant as Oilers down beleaguered Canucks

VANCOUVER - Leon Draisaitl scored twice and Connor McDavid registered a pair of assists as the Edmonton Oilers collected a 4-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.
McDavid continues to lead the NHL in scoring with 93 points and Draisaitl sits second in the race with 75 .
Darnell Nurse had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's win, and Evan Bouchard rounded out the scoring for the Oilers (32-17-2).
Brock Boeser put away the long goal for the Canucks (19-25-3), who saw their losing skid stretch to six games.

In only his second career game in the league, the 28-year-old earned his second win a mere 24 hours after his first. He backstopped the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 shootout victory over the New York Islanders after helping Buffalo prevail 4-2 over New York in his NHL debut Monday. BUFFALO, N.Y. - Anders Bjork scored Buffalo's last two goals in regulation and then had the deciding shootout goal, lifting the Sabres to a 4-3 victory over the New York Islanders on Tuesday.
Cody Eakin also scored for the last-place Sabres, who rallied past the playoff-bound Islanders for the second straight night. Victor Olofsson had two assists.
