BOSTON - After he was forced to use six relievers to get through the final six innings of Friday night's 13-7 slugfest with the Boston Red Sox , Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons put it bluntly: "there will be a move or two - definitely."
There is a strong chance one of those moves will be the return of Jaime Garcia, who could come off the disabled list and rejoin the Blue Jays ahead of Saturday's game. The Blue Jays are also considering recalling Chris Rowley from triple-A Buffalo to bolster the team's beleaguered bullpen.
Garcia has been on the DL since June 23 with left shoulder...

Starter Rick Porcello had a rough night, giving up eight earned runs in two-plus innings while uncharacteristically walking four hitters.
The 2016 American League Cy Young Award winner didn't shy away from blame after the loss, saying the defeat was on his inability to execute and hold a lead.

Rick Porcello ‘Just Had A Bad Game' In Red Sox's Loss Vs. Blue Jays

2 monthes ago   |   By NESN

The Boston Red Sox right-hander was tagged for eight runs in two-plus innings of work in Boston's eventual 13-7 loss. The loss snapped the Sox's 10-game winning streak.
After the game, manager Alex Cora noted that there was no reason to worry over Porcello's start, chalking up the right-hander's struggles to lack of execution.
Cora also dismissed the thought that Porcello might be in need of some rest with the Major League Baseball All-Star break approaching.

Red Sox Wrap: Rick Porcello Gives Up Eight Runs In 13-7 Loss To Blue Jays

2 monthes ago   |   By NESN

It just wasn't Rick Porcello's night.
The Red Sox pitcher was shelled for eight runs on seven hits, while giving up a season-high four walks in Boston's 13-7 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night at Fenway Park.
