NBA teams have until October 18th to sign those eligible for rookie scale extensions. According to HoopsHype, the Charlotte Hornets and Miles Bridges have “have started discussions” and that “some around the League” “believe” that the salary range would be around the “$20 million range annually.”
Bridges had a breakout season last year averaging 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

The Charlotte Hornets signed forward LiAngelo Ball, the team announced Thursday. Ball agreed to a non-guaranteed contract and will play for the Hornets' G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm, this upcoming season, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania. Hornets To Sign, Waive LiAngelo Ball

The Hornets are signing LiAngelo Ball to a non-guaranteed contract and will waive him shortly thereafter, a source tells Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer .
A report earlier this week suggested that Ball would sign a general G League contract and would be entered into the NBAGL draft pool, where the Greensboro Swarm might select him.
However, it sounds like the Hornets - and the Swarm - have decided they want to secure Ball's G League rights directly. Signing him to an Exhibit 10 deal will do that, and will allow the team to give him a bonus worth up to $50K if he spends at least 60 days...
