The 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February won't be played with its traditional pro-am format due to COVID-19 circumstances in the Monterey Peninsula area of California, the PGA Tour announced Thursday. The professional portion of the tournament will move on with 156 players, but will be played on two courses - Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill - instead of the usual three. The spike in COVID-19 cases in California led organizers to cancel the pro-am portion of a tournament with a long history of entertainers and celebrities mixing with the pros on one of the most picturesque courses in the country.
