The Boston Celtics will be thin on Saturday on the second night of a back-to-back.
Al Horford tested his back during pregame and was supposed to be a game-time decision , but was downgraded to out ahead of tip-off with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“He played a lot of minutes last night, 29 1/2, so it's more so the actual tightness that he felt,” coach Ime Udoka said pregame of Horford.”
He joins Jaylen Brown , Josh Richardson and Brodric Thomas who are also out.

Karson Kuhlman was a nice spark plug for the Boston Bruins on Saturday against the New Jersey Devils.
Their first goal of the game all started when he got a steal in the offensive zone and made a play to Anton Blidh, and then got ahold of the rebound off Blidh's shot to help the attack quickly reset. The 26-year-old center recorded an assist with Blidh on Erik Haula's goal that put Boston up 1-0.
He's impressed the Bruins veterans, and Brad Marchand gave him pretty high praise after the game when asked if Kuhlman reminded him of himself.

The Bruins' first line came up big during Saturday afternoon's matchup against the New Jersey Devils, and head coach Bruce Cassidy loved to see the success generated from the group.

Jeremy Swayman earned his fourth win of the season Saturday.
The Boston Bruins netminder was between the pipes for the squad as they traveled to Prudential Center to take on the New Jersey Devils for a Saturday matinee and came away with the big win 5-2 win to snap New Jersey's three-game winning streak.
Swayman was impressive in net for Boston making 27 saves on 29 shots faced throughout the day and extended his personal winning streak to three games after losing his two previous starts before the streak.

The Bruins put an abrupt stop to the Devils 3 game win streak with a 5-2 victory at the Prudential Center on Saturday.
It was a big day for Erik Haula , scoring the first goal of the night and his first goal as a Bruin. Brad Marchand leads the team in scoring, Patrice Bergeron is on a roll, and Jeremy Swayman impressed head coach Bruce Cassidy in the net.
