Stars sign Shore to 2-year, $4.6M contract

The Dallas Stars locked up forward Devin Shore to a two-year, $4.6-million contract on Friday, the team announced. Shore was a restricted free agent and was scheduled to go to arbitration on July 20. "Devin is a hard-working, young forward who has shown us that he is willing to do whatever it takes on the ice to help the team win," general manager Jim Nill said in a release. Loic Remy has signed a two-year contract with Nice, the club announced on Friday, marking the forward's return to France after five years abroad.
"It makes me really happy to come back to France, in a league which I've missed and to sign with Lille, a really big French club," Remy said in a statement.
The 31-year-old left Marseille in 2013 to move to England with Queens Park Rangers before impressing on loan with Newacastle and moving to Chelsea a year later.

The Dallas Stars have signed fourth-round draft pick Adam Mascherin to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Mascherin, 20, recorded 40 goals and 46 assists in 67 regular-season games with the OHL's Kitchener Rangers during the 2017-18 campaign. He ranked first on his team in both points and goals.
Mascherin also skated in 19 games during the 2018 OHL Playoffs and picked up nine goals and 15 assists.
Over his four seasons with Kitchener, Mascherin tallied 296 points over 259 regular-season games.

LaDue, 25, suited up for 12 regular-season games with the Kings last year, scoring three goals and adding one assist. He compiled 18 points in 38 AHL contests with the Ontario Reign. The Anaheim Ducks have signed centre Chase De Leo to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2018-19 NHL season. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
De Leo was acquired from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Nic Kerdiles on June 30. The 22-year-old De Leo spent the 2017-18 season with the AHL's Manitoba Moose, scoring 12 goals and adding 23 assists.
A fourth-round pick of Winnipeg in 2014, De Leo has appeared in two NHL games over his career.
