Devils Hold Moment Of Silence For U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick

The New Jersey Devils honored fallen U.S. Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick before their season opener against the Boston Bruins.
Sicknick died from injuries suffered when the Capitol was stormed Jan. 6. He was born in New Jersey and was an avid Devils fan.
Before the puck dropped at Prudential Center, the teams took part in a moment of silence while Sicknick's picture appeared on the jumbotron.

Patriots Julian Edelman Wants To Be Taking Ice With Bruins For Season Opener

The Boston Bruins open their season Thursday night against the New Jersey Devils.
And it looks like Julian Edelman is a little bummed he won't be out there on the ice with the local Boston team down at the Prudential Center.
Before the Bruins' first game of the season, the New England Patriots wide receiver took to his social media accounts in honor of the occasion.
“364 days until hockey tryouts, gotta toughen up... GoBs,” Edelman tweeted, accompanied by a photoshop of him in a No. 11 Boston sweater on the ice.
The teeth are a nice touch.

The Boston Bruins are back for the 2020-21 NHL season, which is scheduled to consist of 56 regular-season games .
Teams only will face opponents within their division during the regular season, a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and a shortened offseason after last season's Stanley Cup playoff bubbles.
The Bruins will play in the East Division , joining the Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals.
