The Detroit Pistons are waiving veteran swingman and seven-time All-Star Joe Johnson , a source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Johnson signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Pistons in September after an MVP season in the BIG3. The Pistons reportedly plan to use two of their final roster spots on Christian Wood and the development of second-year guard Khyri Thomas , Wojnarowski adds. Johnson's contract would've guaranteed him $1.37 million in salary if he remained on the roster by 5 p.m. ET on Monday, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
