The Washington Capitals took down the Tampa Bay Lightning in a pivotal Game 7 matchup Wednesday to book a ticket to the Stanley Cup Final.
Washington defeated Tampa Bay by a score of 4-0, as captain Alex Ovechkin tallied a minute into the contest and netminder Braden Holtby earned his second straight shutout.
The Capitals will meet Vegas in the Final, with Game 1 slated for May 28.
